Autorenporträt
A first-generation American and the child of Holocaust survivors, Stan Turkel learned at a very young age the importance of having family photographs. At the age of thirteen, after being given an album of pictures from his Bar Mitzvah, he bought his first camera and started a lifelong hobby and profession. All of these experiences helped prepared him for his current love, which is photographing Jewish weddings and Bar/Bat Mitzvahs. He lives in Pikesville, Maryland.
