While technology is advancing rapidly, other standards, concepts and technologies are being adopted. Multimedia integration is being de-facto standard in mobile technologies due to changes in our life styles and work demands. Augmented reality (AR) became a growing area in computer graphics, since it offers multimedia and information integration with the real environment. With recently introduced high end hardware, computer graphics quality is exponentially increasing, which as a consequence, enriches the user experience. In this study techniques are presented to enhance the multimedia integration with the real environment, with an emphasis on outdoor environment; relying on GPS and sensor fusion of accelormeter, gyroscope and compass to project augmented objects appropriately. Moreover, calculating sun position and color to tint the environment appropriately. Hence introducing rich and enhanced user experience and better integration of AR objects in the environment.
