Evidence-based research has signified that physical activity lessens fatness in overweight children, enhance musculoskeletal and cardiovascular health and fitness, positively affects focus and memory and so on brain functioning. Since India is lacking in research in Physical Activity Epidemiology, this study will act as a baseline for the further monitoring of physical activity levels among the Indian population.
