The content of this book is a monograph presented to the State University of Bahia - UNEB, as a pre-requisite for obtaining a degree in Physical Education. The topic was chosen because it is being widely discussed in both academic and social circles, reaching global levels. Since Physical Education is an area of knowledge that studies body culture, it was thought that gender would have a major implication when it comes to bodily practices. Autorenporträt
I was born in the rural area of the town of Pindai, Bahia, on 7th October 1993. In that same town, I completed all my basic education in a public school. Today I have a degree in Physical Education from the State University of Bahia - UNEB (Campus XII) since 2017, and I currently work as a swimming teacher in a private environment.
