This book is designed to enrich studies in the field of Physical Education and Special Education, specifically the inclusion of students with Down syndrome in mainstream schools. In this field research, which covered 100% of the target public in a modest town in the north of Paraná, we were able to investigate the knowledge of Porecatu's Physical Education teachers to ensure the inclusion of students with Down's syndrome in their classes. With an in-depth review of the literature and analysis of the data, which points to a range of knowledge necessary for our professional performance, this book is aimed primarily at Physical Education teachers, but caters for the interests of anyone who wants to know more about Down's Syndrome and inclusion.
