The quality of educators and curriculum are considered as the most important factors in a student's scholastic performance usually, but the quality of school physical environment - where students learn is often overlooked; though school's physical environment can enhance a student's ability to learn by keeping them healthy, attentive and present. This is true due to lack of adaptation and modification of school's physical environment to the special needs of students. For example there may be problems of stairs, narrow doorways, inappropriate seating, or inaccessible toilet facilities, inflexible classroom design, lack of comfort, difficulty of movement around the teaching areas in which all these affect the students' learning and achievements negatively. Hence, the enhancement of the physical environment of school can bring change in an inherent transformation in the way that physical environment of the schools connects with the pedagogy and a student. Therefore, this book focuses on the different aspects of physical environment of schools which are mentioned above to implement inclusive education, in which the book is useful for all readers from kindergarten to university level.
