This document is a field research conducted under a descriptive methodological approach with a quantitative and exploratory approach, where active workers of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) of the industrial sector in the city of Hermosillo, Sonora during the period from June 1 to December 31, 2021, with an 8-hour workday, aged between 18 and 65 years, and performing only administrative activities, were taken as reference. The objective is to develop a diagnosis to determine which are the main benefits of the work environment from the influence of physical activity in active workers who perform administrative activities within SMEs in the industrial sector in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico. As a final conclusion, the importance of developing in the company a physical activity program for its workers through active breaks, which can help to improve their physical and psychological health, in such a way that it could be reflected in their work performance.
