Testing physical fitness for children and adolescents is increasingly becoming an important component to the public health surveillance of the levels of fitness of our nation's youth.Increased levels of fitness, specifically cardiovascular fitness, are associated with a lower risk of the metabolic syndrome, overweight and obesity in youth in their later ages since cardiovascular disease begins during childhood and tracks into adulthood... primary school kids were involve in the fitness tests and talents evaluation. Upper muscular strength, aerobic endurance and flexibility were evaluated by pushup, twenty meters shuttle run,sit and reach, and trunk lift.Pr-test and-evaluation training moderately improved the fitness of the children involved in study except the B MI. The post-training fitness parameter scores were significantly high when compared with per-training for all age and sex groups. ,Pushup, sit and reach, trunk lift test and body mass index evaluation results indicated that the performance of HUMS students were significantly low.Generally, the mean scores obtained by HUMS students, both age &sex were significantly low and awkward.
