This book is compiled in accordance with the program of the "Course of General Physics", section "Mechanics" for specialties of natural sciences of universities. It consists of basics of physical principles of mechanics and includes its essential sections: kinematics and dynamics of a dot particle and of the collection of n such particles, conservation laws, relativity, the dynamics of rotary motion, rigid body kinematics and dynamics, universal gravitation, inertial forces, collisions, mechanics of liquids and gases. Also some important applications are discussed. Textbook is addressed to university students, graduate students and professors who teach general physics course in universities.
