Richard C. Pleus is the founder of the internationally known toxicology consulting organization Intertox, Inc. He is a leader in nanotechnology safety and has been an advisor to the U.S.¿Russia Bilateral Presidential Commission on science and technology; the International Organization for Standardization, Switzerland; and the National Institute for Occupational Health and Safety, USA. Vladimir Murashov is a globally recognized expert in safety of nanotechnology and other emerging technologies. He serves as a senior scientist in the Office of the Director of the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, USA. He also leads nanotechnology safety groups in the International Organization for Standardization, Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, and World Health Organization.
