This book grew out of notes and personal lesson plans used at Harrison College, Barbados, while teaching Advanced Level (A-Level) Physics, from 1986-1991. The notes, at the teacher's discretion, are designed for a 1 or 2 year course at A-Level, contingent on how much material (including special topics in the Appendix) is incorporated. The text also offers an abundance of enrichment material to challenge students to strive for a higher level than the standard syllabus criteria warrants. Teachers (and students), of course, are free to pursue this or not. This book is not claimed to embody or represent all of the particulars or individual elements of the current A-Level examinations syllabi but it will certainly meet many of the requirements for both A- and AS-level Cambridge Physics, as well as many criteria for the comparable Caribbean (CXC) Physics Examinations. It can also serve as a useful supplement to any university Calculus Physics sequence. In this enlarged version I have provided a special Appendix (III), covering model C.A.P.E. (Caribbean A-Level) problems from past papers and selected solutions in mechanics, optics, E&M and modern physics. In Appendix IV, will be found selected problem solutions from most of the chapters in this text. Appendix V is a letter from the then M.I.T. administrator thanking me for my work which earned one of my Harrison College student's special praise.
