Abrha Kebede was born in July 1979 in Ethiopia. After completion of his high school, 2000, he joined Hawassa University, and graduated with a BSc degree in Plant Production and Dryland Farming. After graduation he joined Tigray Agricultural Research Institute worked as crop researcher. He completed his MSc on Dryland Agronomy at Mekelle University
