The present proposal for physiotherapeutic intervention is based on the Person-Centered Care Model, which includes two important points: the first point is the physiotherapeutic treatment to improve the quality of life and the skills to perform the activities of daily living of each user, and the second is to investigate the life history to have a comprehensive approach to the older adult. The application period was short due to the situation of confinement due to the pandemic. However, it was possible to observe in the residents an improvement in muscular strength, coordination when performing activities and better predisposition to perform the exercises, with an adequate state of mind. The experience in the application also generated changes in the therapist-patient dialogue, it was modified to a dialogue of fellow residents, the hierarchy is maintained, it is a horizontal treatment, the user intervenes in the treatment planning.
