El Dr. S. Karnakar Reddy, profesor asistente del Departamento de Botánica de la Universidad de Osmania obtuvo un M. Sc. de Botánica y un doctorado de la Universidad de Osmania. Seis becarios de investigación obtuvieron el doctorado y cinco proyectos de investigación fueron aprobados por la UGC, el DBT y el DST. Calificó a NET y otorgó JRF. Publicó 30 trabajos de investigación en revistas de renombre.
