O Dr. T. S. Swapna trabalha como Professor Associado de Botânica, Universidade de Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram, Índia, com vinte e um anos de experiência de ensino e investigação. Tem mais de 55 trabalhos de investigação e apresentou trabalhos em quase 90 Seminários Nacionais e Internacionais. A sua área de interesse inclui a cultura de tecidos vegetais e a fitoquímica.
