These values are similar to those obtained in the group of rats treated with Loperamide, a reference antidiarrheal drug. The EEEPR extracts at 500 and 1000 mg/kg show similar kinetics of action and completely inhibit diarrheal defecation during the fifth hour after administration.

Dr. KASSIM DOSSO é fisiologista e farmacologista nascido em 1979 em Bouaflé, cidade localizada no centro oeste da Costa do Marfim. Fez os seus estudos primários e secundários em Bouaflé onde obteve a sua licenciatura série D, opção matemática e ciências. Seus estudos de pós-graduação foram realizados na Universidade de Abobo Adjamé.
