The biosynthesis of nanoparticles have usual increasing attention due to the growing demand to produce secure, cost effective and environmentally friendly technologies for nano material synthesis. The acquainted study explains the green synthesis of silver nano particles , phytochemical analysis, and their potential effect against harmful bacteria, photocatalytic degradation of dye, using aqueous leaves extracts of the plants, Coriandrum sativum and Eryngium foetidum. Formation of silver nano particles was supervised by UV visible spectroscopy. The biomolecules responsible for the formation of AgNPs was confirmed by using Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy. The size and shape of the silver nano particles in the plants were identified using the Transmission Electron Microscopy(TEM).The anti bacterial activity of silver nano particles was performed by using disc diffusion method and the photocatalytic activity of degradation of dye was mainly done by using sunlight irradiation. The qualitative analysis of phytochemicals shows the presence of alkaloids, phenols, caumarins, tannin, terpanoids etc in both the extracts.
