Le Dr Shivprasad Suresh Patil est un chercheur en biochimie qui s'intéresse vivement à la compréhension des rôles innés et thérapeutiques des biomolécules des êtres vivants et aux stratégies vertes pour l'extraction des biomolécules de la biomasse. Le Dr Patil a obtenu son doctorat au CSIR-IHBT, en Inde, et mène actuellement des recherches postdoctorales à l'UNCG, aux États-Unis.
