The methodology consisted in testing six treatments in a greenhouse for 75 days, with five replicates: analyses of variance (ANOVA) and multiple comparisons of means were performed on the agronomic data at a probability threshold of 5%; heavy metal analyses were performed on a flame Atomic Absorption Spectrometer (AAS).In terms of phytoremediation, the results showed that TME concentrations (Cu, Pb, Zn) on all landfill soils were well above limit values, and that the pollution index for each soil was greater than 1, i.e. 8.15 for the Saaba landfill soil and 7.50 for the Toudouwéogo landfill…mehr

8.15 for the Saaba landfill soil and 7.50 for the Toudouwéogo landfill soil. The two plant species helped to reduce the soil pollution index at harvest by 1.6 for the Saaba landfill and 6 for the Toudouwéogo landfill, but the values are still well above the standards for agricultural use.
