Seitdem man entdeckte, daß sich in manchen Pflanzen bestimmte Metalle anreichern, sucht man nach Wegen, solche Pflanzen gezielt zur Dekontamination metallverseuchter Böden einzusetzen. Diese sogenannte Phytoremediation erlaubt die schadstoffarme, strukturschonende und zudem preiswerte Entgiftung von Geländen, die mit anderen Methoden nicht behandelt werden können. Dieses Buch diskutiert den Weg des Verfahrens vom Labor auf das Feld sowie verschiedene einzelne Prozeßschritte. (01/00)
