The search for beauty and improved aesthetics has accompanied man's development. Resources from nature, particularly from the plant kingdom, have been used as medicines and cosmetics since ancient times and nowadays there has been a growing demand for, and consequently research and development of, products using plant species. This book is an integrative bibliographical review of themes related to phytotherapy and phytocosmetics applied to aesthetics, with the aim of helping the work practice of aesthetics professionals.
