Nicole Brossard is a two-time winner of the Governor General's Award for Poetry and the author of more than 30 books, including Fluid Arguments, Intimate Journal, and Mauve Desert. Barbara Godard is an essayist and a translator who focuses primarily on French-language Canadian and Quebecois literature.
