If there is one overriding theme in these pieces, it is strangeness, whatever the genre: the feeling that something is not quite the way we thought it was, and that the longer we live and the more we learn, the more strange our reality seems. Terence Kuch's published works include three crime/thriller novels, a horror story collection, and a book of poems from a university press. He is retired after 52 years' work in computer systems, in Abu Dhabi, Canada, Cote d'Ivoire, Dubai, England, France, Kenya, the USA, and Zimbabwe. He has a B.A. in Philosophy from Reed College, and a M.S. in Management from American University.
