Pieces of Grey is a book of poetry written by a bipolar sex-work survivor. Of course, upon reading the poems within this book, you will understand that the author is so much more than those "labels". There are poems about love (often painful and unrequited), about her job as a sex worker, New Mexico, drug fueled schizophrenic episodes, and lots of existential angst.

Autorenporträt
Alice Grey was born and raised in New Mexico under another name. Although she left the desert several years ago, she still carries a piece of it within her. She has lived a wild and far reaching life in her 30 years on this Earth, but calls Los Angeles her home for now. Born to two multidisciplinary artists, she had the utmost freedom to explore her own creativity. A multidisciplinary artist herself, poetry is one of many mediums that brings her joy. This collection of poems ranges over half a decade. They follow the ups, downs, and in-betweens of her experiences over that time.
