Lijlanie is 'n Suid-Afrikaanse expat en woon in Nieu-Seeland. In 2019 is haar pa met fase 4 prostaatkanker gediagnoseer. Die gesin was dit eens: hulle moes 'n geestelike oorlog wen; nie net 'n fisiese een nie. Die intensiteit van hul reis laat haar en haar suster verklaar: "Hierdie gaan ons getuienis word!" Gevolglik stel Lijlanie in 2020 'n Bybelstudie oor geestelike oorlogvoering saam. Sy onderneem om 'n boek oor hul reis te skryf. 2021 bring egter sy eie uitdagings. Vir Lijlanie en haar ouers: die grootste aanslag nog op hul lewens. Uit haar diepste seer word Die Legkaart gebore.
