Lori Luck grew up in Edmonton, Alberta, in a blue-collar neighborhood. Her childhood took a heartbreaking turn at the age of ten when she was sexually assaulted by a family friend. In her memoir, "Pieces," she shares her courageous journey of healing-first from the trauma of the assault, and later from the silence that surrounded it. As an actress, Lori also witnessed the #MeToo movement firsthand, enduring her own incidents of sexual harassment in the TV and film industry, experiences made all the more unsettling by her past. Now a teacher in Calgary, Lori approaches each day with gratitude and resilience.
