Autorenporträt
Pedro Almodóvar wurde 1951 in einer kleinen Provinzstadt südöstlich von Madrid geboren. Mit 16 zog er mittellos in die Hauptstadt, wo er durch den Job bei einer Telefongesellschaft die hohe Kunst des Dialogschreibens erlernte, um die ihn Hollywood heute beneidet. Für seinen Film Alles über meine Mutter erhielt Pedro Almodóvar den Oscar.
