Autorenporträt
Eddie Forde has been writing for over 40 years. Attending courses at the Arvon Foundation in Devon and Yorkshire, where he was able to spend time with living authors, inspired him to become a writer himself. He has had many different jobs, including working as a milkman, a postman, a meter reader, a barman, a shop assistant, and more. After spending six years at night school, he trained as a primary school teacher and spent eighteen years working in Lambeth schools. He has published half-a-dozen slim volumes of poetry and written plays for the radio and for the fringe theatre in London. 'Pier Head Gold' is part of a trilogy with 'A Dublin Childhood' and 'Holloway Road' to follow later.
