Born and raised in Maryland, Patrick Simpson received his M.A. in English and Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University. Through years of trial and error, he found his passion within crime fiction. His work has appeared in publications like Mystery Tribune and The Penmen Review. He currently resides in Montgomery County, Maryland. He is a member of the Maryland Writers' Association. Pierce is his first novel.
