Autorenporträt
Jean-Louis Fabiani teaches sociology at Central European University (Vienna). He received his Ph.D. from EHESS (Paris) under Pierre Bourdieu's supervision. He has worked on historical sociology and on cultural objects. His more recent books are La sociologie comme elle s'écrit (2015) and Sociologie de la Corse (2018). Jean-Louis Fabiani is the winner of the 2020 CEU Award for Outstanding Research, in recognition of his outstanding intellectual impact, exceptionally broad range of work up to the highest academic standards, great reputation as an international scholar, and for his important recent publications.
