In recent years, the demand for sustainable electricity production solutions has grown significantly. The reasons for this increase range from indications of a possible exhaustion of the production model based on fossil fuels, to issues of improving air quality in urban environments and even economic concerns. At the same time, people's way of life has become consolidated in the context of cities. Therefore, developing technologies that aim to implement solutions for urban infrastructure systems becomes relevant. Added to this is the fact that electricity is classified as an indispensable commodity for modern human life. And in order to meet this set of needs, sustainable means of generating electricity must be sought. With this in mind, this work has developed a prototype. It uses a technology that can be applied in this scenario and which makes use of energy that is lost to the environment: kinetic energy.
