I have a wonderful wife and two kids. We read, cook and play, then read some more. I met my wife in ceramics class at the University of Minnesota where I enjoyed throwing clay at her. After school we moved to New Mexico. It was beautiful there. Now we live in southern California where I teach, write and paint. For me, painting always comes first. Only then can I write. Unless it doesn't. Then it's the other way around.
