Philip Edwards worked at The Chalk Face for 39 years prior to his retirement in 2013. He attended Ferndale Grammar School; where he was introduced to the story of The Bando in the Dark. His children must be approaching that stage in life where they can pass the tale on to the next generation. Together with his wife Lynda, they both share the love of folk music and Morris dance.
