Autorenporträt
Sherry Miracle Finnerty has spent twenty-five years as a professional school counselor. Focusing on character education during her educational career, she has endeavored to show students that they can make a positive difference in the world. She was nominated for the Indiana Counselor of the Year award in 2014. Finnerty has also taught drama classes, sung in the church choir, sponsored after-school activities, and formed leadership teams that included Natural Helpers, TEAM LEAD, and Brickie Leaders. This work inspired her to begin writing her new children's book series. Finnerty's latest leadership group was given the World Wide Rachel's Challenge Kindness Award in 2016. Finnerty received her bachelor's degree from Indiana University and her master's degree from Purdue University. She has three grown children and two grandsons and lives with her husband in Hobart, Indiana. She enjoys acting and has appeared in commercials, on billboards, and as an extra in a movie.
