Autorenporträt
NANCY CHEUNG Nancy Cheung loved to draw growing up but was uncertain with her abilities. Thinking she wasn't good enough as an illustrator, she chose something that she thought was more "practical". Instead of pursuing her dream, Nancy went into graphics. She graduated from Alberta College of Art & Design with a BFA in Visual Communications in 1997. She is a graphic designer and resides in Vancouver, BC with her husband and 2 children. As a mother, she taught her children to be confident and to dream BIG but soon realized she was a total hypocrite by not practicing what she preached. Setting aside her own self-doubt she finally started drawing again. Pink's Ink is her first children's book which was inspired by her daughter. Nancy's biggest fans, her children, encourage her to keep creating new stories and illustrations. RACHAEL CHEUNG Rachael Cheung loves all sea creatures. She has been struggling with eczema since she was a baby but it was especially difficult during school. She hopes this book will help others who have eczema and to let them know they are not alone. Remember to enjoy every moment even though it is tough. She believes all children deserve to eat REAL ice cream and not the dairy-free kind. Rachael enjoys painting, singing and of course, ice cream!
