Pinky the Kangarooski is about an insecure kangaroo who thinks she isn't good enough. She discovers a new addition to the Atlanta zoo, a colorful, talented giraffe named Walter. Walter extends kindness to her and reminds Pinky that everyone is different and we should accept and love each other as we are. This children's book is meant to encourage and instill confidence in who we are created to be. No two of us are the same and that's what makes us truly unique!

Autorenporträt
Ashley Spikes is a native Georgian whose lifelong dream has been to author a children's book. One of her techniques is to include situations and scenarios for kids that can be applied to their everyday life. She incorporates engaging, relatable characters that are energetic and fun-loving. Inspired by one of her daughter's toys that both her children came to love, she imagined using it as the main character of her lovable stories. And so, Pinky Kangarooski was born. Ashley and her husband, Andrew live outside of Atlanta and have two amazing girls; Olivia and Charlotte.
