Frankie dreams of being anyone or anything other than plain old Frankie. But is he really all that plain? Children's book author D.K. In this whimsical treat, perfect for the Halloween season and all year 'round, young Frankie awakes in his bed wistfully imagining himself as exciting beasts such as a werewolf or a vampire, instead of being his ordinary self. "I could be a werewolf, howling at the moon . . . or a mummy, mending my worn bandages." Autorenporträt
D.K. Brantley writes from his dining room, kitchen, bedroom, living room, and basement. He has even spent a fair amount of time writing in the food court of his local mall. He lives in Cleveland, Tennessee, with his wife, their two children, a miniature Schnauzer, and a handful of crazy chickens. When not busy writing, D.K. enjoys playing music (drums & ukulele), building homemade two- to four-string guitars, reading, and dreaming of when he used to have hair.
