This book is the result of a pedagogical intervention to improve teaching and learning processes in the 6th grade of a school in the city of Uíge, Angola, focusing on planning, implementation and assessment, based on years of experience and evidence. We analyzed the strategies that teachers use in planning, implementing and evaluating mathematics content in 6th grade. The intervention took place with the aim of proposing methodological strategies in teaching practice, consisting of a training session. The novelty lies in the preservation of its fundamental principles. The effectiveness of the study can be seen in the results of the students of the teachers who took part in the training and in the data collection instruments in this manuscript, determining conclusions that highlight the benefits for teachers and students at this level.
