Sonia López Villarreal è professore di ricerca presso la UANL di Monterrey, Messico. È un'odontoiatra pediatrica con un Master in Educazione e un Dottorato in Scienze. È autrice di tre libri, di un protocollo di prevenzione e di quattro brevetti. Ha ottenuto il premio di invenzione UANL nel 2018 e nel 2020. Lavora con i bambini da 25 anni come dentista pediatrico.
