Autorenporträt
Adrian Athique is Principal Research Fellow at the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities, University of Queensland, Australia. He has written and edited a substantial body of work on digital society and the media in Asia, including seven books and more than forty journal articles and chapters. Vibodh Parthasarathi is Associate Professor at the Centre for Culture, Media and Governance, Jamia Millia Islamia, India. He maintains a multidisciplinary interest in media policy, creative industries, and media history, his most recent work being the co-edited double-volume The Indian Media Economy (2018). His ongoing work explores the regulatory and commercial dynamics of digitalisation across the Indian media, including in newspapers, journalism, broadcasting, and cable distribution.
