This Book establishes the influence of pre-school teachers' level of motivation on use of play as a medium of instruction in pre-school children's learning. It explores the level of motivation that can make teachers to use play as a medium of instruction and participate in children's play activities. Play is essential for the development of children because it contributes to the cognitive, physical, social, and emotional well-being of children. It offers an ideal opportunity for teachers to engage fully with their children. Despite the benefits derived from play for both children and teachers, time for free play has been markedly reduced for some children. This book culminates from research work done in Kenya.
