Autorenporträt
Mrs. Stevens grew up constantly asking her parents "Why?" causing her dad to repeatedly ask her if she was writing a book. Well, after all these years the answer to that all too familiar question is "yes." As a mother of four she put her inquisitive mind and imagination to good use. The creative writing classes she took for fun helped her come up with bedtime stories for her children. When the stories blossomed into family favorites she began sharing them with friends and neighbors. She was thrilled when neighbors would show up unexpectedly wanting to borrow a story for their children's bedtime. With her children growing Mrs. Stevens ventured from cute bedtime stories to ones that were better suited for older children. Many years later and after some prompting from a friend she entered one of her favorite short stories in a writing contest. When the story was selected as a winner she decided to expand upon the story, creating her first published books "The Legend of Dalton Manor Series." After years of writing for family and friends Mrs. Stevens was thrilled to have her books published on Amazon KDP. In order to expand her sells paperback versions of her existing and future books will be available. With the help of IngramSpark Mrs. Stevens plans to go wide with her books. Who would have thought that the sometimes-annoying little girl, full of unending questions would grow up to do exactly what her dad had asked her countless times? How she wishes her dad was alive to see it become a reality.
