This book aims to use fun activities as an alternative aid for teaching chemistry. The study was carried out at the State School of Elementary and Secondary Education Professor Maria Geny S. Timóteo, in four classes of the second year of secondary education in the EJA (Youth and Adult Education) supplementary system. These are made up of deaf students as well as hearing students. Playfulness was used to support the teaching and learning process of the students. To this end, two games were built with an emphasis on the reuse and recycling of materials, with the aim of raising environmental awareness among the students. The results were analysed in quantitative and qualitative terms. To obtain the quantitative aspect, two evaluation instruments were used for each game. The qualitative factor was perceived through participation, interest, motivation and interaction with the game and the other participants. As a result, it was clear that there had been a substantial improvement in the learning of ALL the students (deaf and hearing), as drop-out rates, indiscipline, lack of motivation, lack of attention and low school performance had been minimised.
