Alvin was born December 23, 1958, in Aliquippa Pennsylvania. Moved to Beaver Falls Pa. at age five. Where he became very involved in sports: basketball, baseball, football, track, wresting, and cross country. He also played the drums in the Beaver Fall marching band. He love basketball more then the other sports, and was able to receive a scholarship to Clarion University. Having a great career making the NAIA and the NCAA Division 2 All American teams. Played on the United States Basketball Team. And played in the Continental Basketball Association. After his basketball career Alvin moved to Erie Pa. and married Eilene Atkinson, his college sweet heart, he had dated four year. He worked as a Quality Control Inspector for the next ten years of his life. Moved to Richmond, Va.in 1989. A few years later he accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. He became ever involved in ministry, working fifteen in the children's ministry. Graduated bible school and started teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ in prisons and jails in Virginia. Also able to share the gospel in several countries in Africa He started a business in1997, Gibson Janitorial Service. A business that has been successful for the pass twenty-five years Employing over seventy workers. I have two children: Whitney and Eric. And two grandchildren: Aiden and Andrew. And my son-in-law Adrian Young(AJ)
