A FAST-PACED ACTION THRILLER PACKED WITH HEART-STOPPING TWISTS. Frank Doy has had enough of playing nice. This time, he's playing by his own rules. Frank gets a visit from a young man with a big problem. A ten-million-pound problem. Jason just hit the jackpot in the lottery. Unfortunately, someone else has plans for the money: his cash-strapped father-in-law. Jason's father-in-law George is a dodgy real-estate developer whose strong-arm methods rival the Mafia. And he's determined to get his hands on Jason's winnings. Frank discovers George is planning for his son-in-law to have an unfortunate 'accident.' So his daughter, Jason's estranged wife, can collect the £10 million. George is coming for Jason and his money. And there's nowhere to hide on the North York Moors. But Frank Doy isn't the type to sit back and do nothing. Going up against men like this can only mean one thing. Playing dirty.
Autorenporträt
Dan Latus lives with his wife in Northumberland. By instinct and education a geographer, his novels are inspired by the places he knows best, and for which he has an affinity that has grown from long connection. Several are set on Teesside and along the Cleveland coast, where he grew up and developed a love of hill walking and climbing. Others are located in Northumberland, which has long been home. Some are set at least in part in Central Europe, a region he has visited frequently over many years for work and pleasure. And Saving Harry is based in Western Canada, where he also lived and worked.
