Katherine Russell Becker has been telling stories on television for decades, winning Emmy, Telly, New York and Chicago Film Festivals awards for programs she directed or produced. Her debut novel PLAYING GOD is set in the colorful San Francisco Bay Area she is proud to call home. She has written about what she knows first-hand: the world of broadcast TV, the pain of infertility, and playing competitive poker. She knows from personal experience that sometimes, the best thing to do is to fold your cards and let it go.
