Autorenporträt
Leading social historian Pamela Horn has lectured at Oxford Polytechnic - now Oxford Brookes University - for over twenty years, and has also worked as an external examiner for a number of other educational institutions. She lectures to local history and family history groups, as well as to other academic organisations. She contributes articles to a number of journals on a freelance basis and reviews for The History of Education and The Local Historian. Amberley Publishing is republishing many of Pamela Horn's classic books on nineteenth- and early twentieth-century life, including Life Below Stairs, Young Offenders, The Victorian and Edwardian Schoolchild and Women in the 1920s.
