Yang Yun, of the Miao ethnicity, hails from Longlin Various Nationalities Autonomous County in Baise City, Guangxi Province. She is an inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage of Miao embroidery and batik. Known as a " Baise Craftsman," and her works have won many awards in provincial and national competitions. Wu Xuan, from Wuzhou, Guangxi, is a member of the Guangxi Folk Artists Association and the Nanning City Writers Association. Her notable works include The Lotus Fairy, Floral Affairs, and The Wild Thrush.
