The constant immigration justifies the implementation of symbolic rituals of a patriotic nature, based on the need for the new inhabitants and citizens to show their adherence to the values that make up the Argentine national identity, for which the State delegates to the educational institutions as an area of social legal validation, the implementation of the most relevant act of symbolic adherence, the pledge of allegiance to the Argentine Flag, the maximum reference of the cultural identity of the Argentine Nation. Migratory flows, paradigm shifts and political and social transformations that have occurred in recent years in Argentina lead to reflect on pedagogical interventions and their consequences in the new cultural and educational configurations, assuming the challenges of recontextualizing patriotic acts according to the new contemporary intercultural scenarios.
