Gmina Chodów is a rural gmina (administrative district) in Ko o County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland. Its seat is the village of Chodów, which lies approximately 27 kilometres (17 mi) east of Ko o and 144 km (89 mi) east of the regional capital Pozna . The gmina covers an area of 77.97 square kilometres (30.1 sq mi), and as of 2006 its total population is 3,475. Ko o County (Polish: powiat kolski) is a unit of territorial administration and local government (powiat) in Greater Poland Voivodeship, west-central Poland. It came into being on January 1, 1999, as a result of the Polish local government reforms passed in 1998. Its administrative seat and largest town is Ko o, which lies 119 kilometres (74 mi) east of the regional capital Pozna . The county contains three other towns: K odawa, 21 km (13 mi) east of Ko o, D bie, 19 km (12 mi) south-east of Ko o, and Przedecz, 21 km (13 mi) north-east of Ko o.
